📍 Why We're Here
Welcome to Overly Caffeinated, the blog where we sip caffeine and spill the beans on everything you need to know about content marketing!
This week's entry: We pulled up to Selva Coffee House, one of the most aesthetic cafes in San Diego, tucked inside a plant nursery and built for content creators. I tried their signature drink "The Mothertrucker", shot a full-on photoshoot with the crew, and broke down how I’m using AI tools like GoHighLevel, ChatGPT, Make.com, and Kling AI to turn creative moments like this into a full content system.
This one’s for the content creators, coffee lovers, and brand builders. Let’s get into it…
Selva Coffee Review:
My Hot Take ☕️
Order: MotherTrucker
Selva is one of those rare coffee spots that lights up both your taste buds and your pupils.
I ordered the Mothertrucker—a rich blend of pistachio, white mocha, espresso, and almond milk. The flavor was smooth, creamy, and surprisingly well-balanced. The pistachio didn’t overpower the drink, and the white mocha added a touch of sweetness. It’s the kind of drink that feels indulgent but still gets the job done. For coffee lovers looking to branch out from the basics, this one’s a hidden gem.
But the real kicker? Selva is built for content creators.
Located inside Terra Bella Nursery, the café is surrounded by vibrant greenery, rustic wood textures, and earthy tones every corner is camera-ready. They have a strong Instagram presence and welcome content creation. No side-eyes from baristas, no awkwardness. In fact, because they have such an active social media I planned ahead: decided to coordinate matching outfits to Selva’s brand colors, ordered aesthetic drinks, and staged an impromptu photoshoot inside the nursery. And nobody batted an eye.
Selva isn’t just brewing coffee they’re cultivating a full creative experience. From standout drinks like the Mothertrucker to photo-ready spaces that welcome your camera, this spot blends flavor and functionality like a pro. If you’re a content creator with a caffeine addiction, this place was made for you.

🫘Keep It a Bean: Learn To Streamline with Automated Systems
This week was about systems, not just stories.
Visiting Selva reminded me how easy it is to get caught up in aesthetics, but real content marketing requires intention and infrastructure.
I’ve been building my AI-powered content machine behind the scenes one that lets me create faster, test smarter, and repurpose better. Here’s the breakdown:
- GoHighLevel is now my digital command center—handling everything from email flows to booking funnels.
- ChatGPT helped write this blog, outline my carousels, and even shape the Reels I’ll use to promote it.
- Make.com + Zapier keep my systems connected so I don’t waste time manually juggling tools.
- And Kling AI? That’s my secret weapon to turn text prompts into cinematic video animations that match the vibe of every post.
But here’s the real gem: I finally understood the difference between repurposing and recycling.
Recycling is copying and pasting the same thing across platforms and praying it works.
Repurposing is reshaping that content so it feels native, whether that means adding polls on Stories, voiceovers on Reels, or captions that speak to LinkedIn.
The takeaway?
If your content doesn’t fit the platform, it won’t perform.
And if your systems aren’t built, your strategy will burn out.
So this week wasn’t just about sipping coffee, it was about sipping smarter.
Building creative systems so I can stay caffeinated and consistent.
💡 Try This Now
You don’t need a full tech stack to start leveling up just a smarter approach. Here’s what you can do right now:
- Audit your content: Are you repurposing it or just recycling it? Make sure each post fits the platform it’s on. And use native tools within the app to avoid content being treated as recycled
- Choose 1 automation tool: Whether it’s scheduling with GoHighLevel or triggering auto-emails with Zapier, pick one tool to reduce your manual workload.
- Plan your content like a campaign: Don’t just post content, build content around a central theme (like a blog, offer, or event) and design pieces that flow into each other.
Start small. Stay consistent.
The goal is to make your strategy smoother, not harder.
